Hair Extensions Techniques

Hand-tied Hair Extensions
Hand-tied hair extensions are wefts of hair that are tied to a string by a human instead of a machine. This prevents bulkiness at the scalp to ensure that your hair lays flat against your head with the ultimate flexibility. Hand-tied extensions are a method where a stylist attaches beads onto a row of a client's natural hair. This is ideal for those looking to add more volume and length that looks natural without putting too much tension on the scalp or hair.

I-Tips
I tip hair extensions, also known as microbeads, refer to a type of extensions that attach themselves to sections of your hair using specific beads known as microbeads. This is a no heat technique and the individual strands give great versatility in styling hair.

Tape-ins
Tape in extensions are thin, lightweight tape wefts that get “sandwiched” together in between your own hair. They require no tools or chemicals to get applied, can last 8-12 weeks, and are reusable up to three applications.

K-Tips
Keratin Tip Extensions, also known as K-tip, is an individual extension that is applied using a heating tool. K-tips are ideal for fine to medium-haired clients and are extremely versatile with maximum movement.

Custom Clip-ins
Clip-ins: pre-clipped strips of extensions that snap onto sections of your own hair right at the root. We offer custom made clip in hair extensions. You come in and get colored match and we send the order out to be fully customized for you.
FAQ
Will extensions damage my hair?
Extensions should not damage your hair if properly cared for and maintained. You must be careful brushing. If you have a tangle, hold the hair while you brush it especially if your hair is fragile. Have them redone about every 6 weeks.
How long do they last? How often do you have to get them redone?
It depends on the type of hair that you are getting applied and how you care for your extensions afterwards, but the hair itself should last 6-8 months on average.
Can I style it and wear it in a ponytail?
Yes, absolutely. You will feel it as your natural hair and most importantly it will look that way. Depending on the type of hair used, you can even color hair extensions. For detailed tips on after care, you will be sent a aftercare and maintenance document after your service.
How long does your hair have to be for hair extensions?
Its all going to depend on your initial goal. For the most natural looking result we suggest your hair touch your shoulders. If you want maximum length and volume we do suggest your hair be past your shoulders. A consultation is best so you and your stylist can decide whats best for you.
